Persianfootball.com \u2013 AHVAZ, Foulad of Khuzestan wins in penalty shots 3-0 to eliminate Persepolis of Tehran in the quarter finals of Iran\u2019s Hazfi Cup this Sunday January 26, in Ghadir Stadium, Ahwaz.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Early in the first half in minute 4, a corner delivery was headed in Foulad\u2019s goal by Abbaszadeh the Persepolis youngster.<\/p>\n

For the rest of the first half no serious danger was created by any of the two sides and the first hale ended 0-1 in favor of Persepolis.<\/p>\n

Early in the second half in minute 56, Foulad tied the match when Rahmani scored with a decisive shot from inside the box to make it 1-1.<\/p>\n

At the end of the regular time, score remained the same 1-1 and the game was sent to extra time.<\/p>\n

In extra time, none of the two clubs were able to score and in order to determine the winner the game was forced in to taking the penalty shots.<\/p>\n

The penalty shots resulted in 3-0 victory in favor of Foulad which was enough to send Foulad of Khuzestan in to the semifinals of the Hazfi Cup.<\/p>\n

In semifinals, Foulad will play Tractorsazi of Tabriz and Esteghlal of Tehran will play Mes of Kerman.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
