The match finished 1-1 in Tehran\u2019s Azadi Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wanted to go out on top form. I want to thank all the fans and reporters and I wish them all the best,\u201d Majidi said.<\/p>\n<p>Majidi hung up his boots once in September 2012 after Esteghlal refused to offer him a contract extension but came out of retirement.<\/p>\n<p>Majidi scored 46 goals in 137 matches for Esteghlal.
