{"id":13924,"date":"2013-02-26T08:22:12","date_gmt":"2013-02-26T16:22:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/?p=13924"},"modified":"2013-02-27T13:59:18","modified_gmt":"2013-02-27T21:59:18","slug":"tractorsazi-3-1-al-jazira","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/2013\/02\/26\/tractorsazi-3-1-al-jazira\/","title":{"rendered":"Tractorsazi 3-1 Al Jazira [VIDEO]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>AFC &#8211; TABRIZ, <strong>Tractorsazi Tabriz began their maiden campaign in the AFC Champions League in impressive fashion as goals by Mehdi Seyed-Salehi, Javad Kazemian and Masoud Ebrahimzadeh gave the Iranian side a 3-1 win over United Arab Emirates side Al Jazira on Tuesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Roared on by a capacity crowd at the 67,000-seat Yadegar Emam Stadium, the home side took the game to their opponents in the first half and they grabbed a deserved lead in the 37<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0minute.<\/p>\n<p>Following a scramble near the left byline, the ball was lobbed invitingly in the Al Jazira six-yard box where Seyed-Salehi <a href=\"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/seyedsalehi-small.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-13929\" style=\"margin: 5px;\" alt=\"seyedsalehi-small\" src=\"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/seyedsalehi-small.jpg\" width=\"148\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/seyedsalehi-small.jpg 148w, https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/seyedsalehi-small-82x100.jpg 82w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 148px) 100vw, 148px\" \/><\/a>arrived to power an unstoppable header past goalkeeper Ali Khaseif.<\/p>\n<p>Al Jazira pushed forward in search of an equaliser early in the second half but they were very nearly caught out in the 55<sup>th<\/sup>minute when a great through ball picked out Seyed-Salehi, who streaked clear of the Al Jazira defence but dragged his shot from outside the box just wide of the post.<\/p>\n<p>But on the hour mark, the Iranian side would make it 2-0 after some fine movement which carved open the Al Jazira defence. Following a series of neat passes, the ball was cut back from the left by Mehdi Karimian to Kazemian, who wrong-footed a defender with an excellent first touch before he rolled the ball past Khaseif into the far corner of the net.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/kazemianj-small.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-13931\" style=\"margin: 5px;\" alt=\"kazemianj-small\" src=\"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/kazemianj-small.jpg\" width=\"130\" height=\"130\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/kazemianj-small.jpg 130w, https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/kazemianj-small-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 130px) 100vw, 130px\" \/><\/a>Tractorsazi went close to extending their lead five minutes later after a low cross from the right by Karimian was met at the near post by Seyed-Salehi.
