PTV – DOHA, The Iranian club Shahid Mansouri has pummeled Al Sadaka of Lebanon 5-3 to advance to the semifinals of the 2011 Asian Futsal Club Championship, which is currently underway in Qatar.<\/strong> <\/span>
<\/span>
Shahid Mansouri gained its second consecutive Group B victory against Al Sadaka at Doha’s Al Rayyan Main Hall on Monday to become the first team to gain a berth in the semis. <\/span>
<\/span>
The Iranians defeated Ardus of Uzbekistan 4-2 in their opener. <\/span>
<\/span>
The Iranian team took the lead when Morteza Azimaei tapped in the ball on a neat pass from Ahmad Esmaeilpour on the line. <\/span>
<\/span>
Al Sadaka leveled the game through a shot by Marwan Gorges, a minute before Shahid Mansouri took the lead again when Masoud Daneshvar side-footed the ball through keeper Rabie El Kakhi’s legs. <\/span>
<\/span>
Mohammadesmaeil Vatankhah then extended the lead for Shahid Mansouri on a bounce ball, before the Lebanese club pulled one back through Khaled Takaji’s goal. <\/span>
<\/span>
Azimaei then doubled his tally minutes before Ahmad Pariazar scored Shahid Mansouri’s fifth to add to Al Sadaka’s misery. <\/span>
<\/span>
Takaji netted his second to reduce the deficit for the Lebanese side, but ultimately it was in vain. <\/span>
<\/span>
\u201cI would like to thank my players because they played a very tough game. We played better than yesterday, although there were a few mistakes, but I think we can rectify them in the next game,\u201d Shahid Mansouri head coach Reza Lak said after the match. <\/span>

Mansouri is scheduled to face GH Bank RBAC from Thailand on Tuesday. <\/span>
<\/span>
The second semifinal spot from Group B is still open as GH Bank RBAC and Ardus played to a 4-4 draw later in the day. <\/span>

Iran’s Foulad Mahan Sepahan won the title in the inaugural edition of the competition in 2010. <\/span><\/p>\n
