AFC – TEHRAN, Esteghlal coach Parviz Mazloomi will go all out for victory despite needing only a point from their final AFC Champions League group game at home to Al Nassr. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Tehran-based club will reach the knockout stages if they avoid a defeat that would see Al Nassr leapfrog above them.<\/p>\n

Al Nassr won the reverse meeting earlier in the competition and Mazloomi knows he can ill afford to take them lightly.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need all points and we do our best for it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know the other team very well. In Saudi Arabia we won the first-half but then we were pressured in the second-half and lost the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough having said that they didn\u2019t really deserve to win.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mazloomi is set to target the away side\u2019s defenders, who he claimed are \u201csluggish\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir strength is the attacking line where they have very speedy forwards,” he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut they also have weaknesses at the back where defenders are very sluggish.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am certain they are not here to draw against us – they want a win. I believe first they will try to nick the opening goal and then try to keep the lead.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are not afraid of any teams especially the Arab teams and I\u2019ve never said we don\u2019t like playing against Arab teams.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith all the respect I have for the Saudi team we\u2019ll play our best game to beat them here in Tehran. <\/p>\n

Al Nassr kept alive their hopes of progressing with victory over Group B\u2019s bottom club Pakhtakor
and with momentum behind them manager Dragan Skocic has labelled the trip to Tehran a \u201cfinal\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cTomorrow\u2019s match is a final for us, since it\u2019s decisive for qualifying from the group,\u201d the Croatian said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter last week\u2019s win against Pakhtakor my boys are all well poised and are in high spirits for the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are here to take all three points from Esteghlal. If Esteghlal inflict defeat on us we can do nothing about it. It\u2019s football and any result is imaginable.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Saudis will be without Australian defender Jon McKain who is banned while Skocic revealed another unnamed player was struggling with injury.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy Australian defender is suspended so he hasn\u2019t flown to Tehran with us and also there\u2019s one player in the team whose position is still in doubt due to his fitness,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, without these two players we must overcome our Iranian opponents at the Azadi stadium.<\/p>\n
