{"id":11884,"date":"2011-01-21T18:08:50","date_gmt":"2011-01-22T02:08:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/2011\/01\/21\/cho-cool-on-ghotbis-inside-knowledge\/"},"modified":"2011-01-21T18:08:50","modified_gmt":"2011-01-22T02:08:50","slug":"cho-cool-on-ghotbis-inside-knowledge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/2011\/01\/21\/cho-cool-on-ghotbis-inside-knowledge\/","title":{"rendered":"Cho cool on Ghotbi\u2019s \u2018inside knowledge\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: right;\" src=\"http:\/\/images.the-afc.com\/afc\/comps\/asian_cup\/2011\/finals\/300x200\/kor_cho_kwang_rae_130111_3x2.jpg\" align=\"left\" height=\"200\" width=\"300\" \/>AFC &#8211; DOHA, <strong>Korea Republic coach Cho Kwang-rae has shrugged off suggestions  that Afshin Ghotbi\u2019s experience of Korean football could give the Iran  boss the tactical edge when the two Asian football superpowers clash in  the last eight of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011\u2122 on Saturday. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ghotbi previously worked with the Korean national team for a  total of five years, first as a match analyst and then as assistant  coach, meaning his past knowledge of the team could be views as a slight  advantage for Iran.<\/p>\n<p>However, Korea Republic coach Cho believes  much has changed since Ghotbi was part of the set-up and is confident  whatever knowledge he has will be of little use now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Korea team keeps changing and developing and our way of football changes every game,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfshin Ghotbi\u2019s previous knowledge of Korea might not be useful now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth  teams have shown good performances in the group stage. It will be an  important game for us but also a difficult one.
