\"sepahan-win2223\"PFDC – TEHRAN, Afshin Ghotbi adapted his 23-men squad for Asian Cup, the official website of the Iranian Football Federation (IFF) reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rah Ahan leftback Abouzar Rahimi (29) was eliminated from the list and Sepahan centreback Mohsen Bengar was added instead.<\/p>\n

31-year-old Bengar is already the sixth Sepahan Esfahan player in the squad after goalkeeper Mehdi Rahmati and defenders Jalal Hosseini, Hadi Aghily, Khosro Heydari and Ehsan Hajsafi. Zob Ahan Esfahan has the second largest contingent with four players.<\/p>\n

According to the AFC Asian Cup rules, any player from the 23-men squad can be replaced by another player who had been previously named in the 50-men roster until six hours prior to the team’s first match in the competition.<\/p>\n
