\"acltrophy03\"AFC – KUALA LUMPUR, China has topped the attendances averages after Match Day 6 of the AFC Champions League 2010.<\/strong><\/p>\n

China\u2019s four clubs in the competition \u2013 Beijing Guoan, Changchun Yatai, Shandong Luneng and Henan Jianye \u2013 have played 12 matches at home at an average of 20,272. This represents an eight per cent increase from last year.<\/p>\n

Iranian clubs are close behind with an average of 19,149 from 12 matches while a distant third is Saudi Arabia, on 12,591, also for 12 matches.<\/p>\n

Qatar had the biggest increase \u2013 338 per cent \u2013 for their two clubs who played six times at home. In 2010 group matches, they earned an average of 6,570 compared to 1,500 in 2009.<\/p>\n

The overall attendance stood at 1,016,477 for 96 matches at an average of 10,588.<\/p>\n

In 2009, the number was slightly better at 1,037,702 from 94 games, with an average of 11, 039 spectators.<\/p>\n

Club-wise, Iran\u2019s Esteghlal had the highest average attendance of 52,280 for their three home matches, followed by Beijing Guoan (China, 34,067), Henan Jianye (China, 19,735), Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia, 17,000) and Al Ittihad (Saudi Arabia, 16,114).<\/p>\n
