    Weighlifting has such a delicate technique to it, the day that you're lifting you need to be at your 100% shape with no pain or injuries and yes alot of it is mental concentration

    Rostami was dealing with an arm or wrist injury that prevented him from being at his best. Injuries happen as unfortunate as they are.

    yeah rezazadeh on tv i think said moradi had a problem with his knee. he had lifted 388 last year and this year 385 kg was gold in the olympics!

    i was truly looking forward for his performance. Out of all our athletes, i really wanted to see him kick ass and salimi lift the heaviest weights. I was really really sad when this happened....especially how he tried so hard to get on with it. He actually won the fight before it.

    they should give him and honorary bronze medal at least

    Damesh garm for fighting like a LION.

    Unfortunatley, he suffered torn ligaments and meniscus, will have surgery and will be sidelined for six months.

    Imagine if he hadn't been injured and if Abdevali hadn't been unfairly targeted. We could have had an extra 2 gold medals!
