Not only that, but to make our opponents travel further to other cities in Iran for the match will be an added advantage for us. And as mahestan has mentioned other cities will be able to enjoy TM matches up close as well. A city like Tabriz with such a huge football following and intimidating stadium would be an excellent idea if you ask me.

    S. Korea did the same thing to us the last WC qualifiers, by making us travel to a remote city hundreds of miles away from Seoul, which was cause for our players to have to travel further by a chartered bus, which was exhausting for the team. I think Oman may have done this to us as well as other countries.

Our federation will need to be more open to this idea, they need to be smart and use any and all advantages benefiting Team Melli, and not make Azadi and Tehran the automatic location for all international competitions. Once Naghshe Jahan stadium is complete (hopefully in this decade), and the new Foolad stadium in Ahvaz, and other newly built stadiums in other provinces, ones with more than 30K capacity, should be used for international competitions, especially WC and AC matches.

Same as the front of the shirts - Hamrahe Aval. A cell phone company in Iran.

Thanks for the clarification. Our wiki page needs to get updated since it still says Diego Giacchino is TM's fitness coach.
