Mehdi needs a psychologist to fix his mind. At the moment he doesn't run, play, hustle, score and/or have the body language of a confident player. And this is not just at Inter, he has been displaying the same lack of confidence at TM level as well.

When u hear his coach in commentary keeps telling him to keep doing what he’s been doing ..!
then you know he’s essentially been doing a damn good job of playing the role that’s been assigned to him ..!
After all the ultimate objective is winning & getting maximum possible points from games & w/o looking up data I can tell you that Inter have managed pretty damn good results in matches he’s been involved in..!& he’s played plenty important role in attaining those results w/o getting on the scorer’s board ..!

Seria a is just a swamp for offense players .what I am saying is base on 10 years ago when i used to watch euro club football, and I don't think it has changed that much.

I saw 30 minutes of taremi match to see what's up. Hate inter btw.
He was one of the best player on the field that 30 minutes . His movement with out ball GREATEST EVER BY PERSIAN PLAYER EVER SEEN.(ASHKAN DIDNT GROW UP IN IRAn can't give him that credit.)

I think overall he’s still a humble, selfless, and hard-working player. It’s very evident whenever he speaks in interviews.

He never came off as superwarm like a Jahanbakhsh for example, but I think it’s just his personality.

It could be he’s just becoming grouchier and more tired with age. Some of it I don’t mind with his teammates because he does produce at an elite level internationally, and expects more out of the players.

But ARJ has a much more professional attitude than Taremi, and would make a better captain, if he ever gets out of his post Asian Cup slump.

i largely agree..!! mese babaash mehdi has a bit flair for sparking hashieh/dramatics ans shitt-stirring ..!
seems to be bit bullying his way through this new status as the TMCaptain, especially in terms of establishing his authority as captain to the less senior members of TM..!!
but overall He is still an ambitious, hardworking and largely humble and ultimately iran-glory-seeking player well worthy of captaincy and someone our veterans should respect and our young footballer should look up to and aspire to become ..!!

Guys I’m not trying to hate but is it just me or has Taremi become a bit nachasb recently. This is gonna get philosophical but I used to look at him as this role model for all Iranian footballers to aspire to become like, with his high work ethic, strong ambition, and perseverance. To me, 2019-2022 he deeply exemplified this. But since AC, there’s just something about him that I find offputing and I can’t quite put my finger on it. Whether it be him not really trying in AC, to his overall “I’m better than you” attitude in TM on the pitch, and now this captain armband drama. Btw regarding captain, I still believe he is the best option we have but regarding your perception of him, let me know if anyone else feels this way or if it’s just me. Maybe I was idolizing him too much.

Atilla needs to and watch the 78 games. TM was bad. Heavy nostalgia and love of personalities on that team have overinflated the reputation of that team.
