Iraq would be so difficult to play against away. Same with Saudi and Jordan. These would be extremely hostile environments. We are in for a very exciting WCQ process. Not the COVID-19 2022 WCQ snoozefest (after the games in Bahrain)

We will struggle to qualify if GN is leading the charge. We might even have to go through play offs if the holes we have seen are not addressed.

I want to see:

Iran

Qatar (experts at exposing GN weakness)

Saudi Arabia (I want revenge but also know they will expose GN further)

Bahrain (always fun to beat up on those malakhors)

Kyrgyzstan (short travel)

Kuwait (short travel and worst team they have ever had)

It's crazy how since 1997 we have not been grouped with Australia in any tournaments, nor have we encountered them in any stage. Truly amazing. Unlike South Korea which we almost always have to play against in crucial games of almost all World Cup qualifications, as well as Asia Cup tournaments. Having said that this year I was surprised that we did not face S. Korea in Asia Cup.

Unlike what some of you folks think, I believe Iraq would be a tougher opponent than Qatar. Historically Iraq has given us much harder time than Qatar. Not to mention that the current Iraqi team is very young and energetic. They were one of the biggest surprises of this edition of Asia Cup.

In general I don't care whom we will be grouped with. If we wanna see TM in WC, we better beat whoever we play in our group

I really want Australia and Saudi together. I'm really tired of facing useless teams. We don't get many friendlies so having a hard qualification will prep us well for the WC mentally as well.

IMO tbh we all know our WC is gonna be a disaster, these players aren't very capable of finishing the job, our performance is really dependent on Taremi and Azmoun, which is not enough to make a good WC run. I rather have interesting qualifications matches than wait for a WC where we will get eliminated in 2-3 games anyways

personally would like to get Saudi and gutter in there to kick their assses and remind them who da boss..! besides it'll be an exciting fixture to look forward to and good chance to get rid of GN sooner than later if he wets the bed against them..!!
if he tops our easy group we'd have to likely face the high probability of going to WC relatively untested with an unqualified coach to boot..!!

I prefer Iraq over Qatar, less bribing and shady calls drama.

I would like to f Saudi up too but they are the only asian giant we have a inferior record against, they always get under our skin when it matters.

Iraq= very short travel and weakest of the teams in pot 2, we killed the Iraq ghost last wcq.

Uzbekistan = We know them better than cholo kebab and they are not a arab dirty bribe team like Saudi and I want to avoid a in form Jordan. We dominated them last game, just unlucky and not clinical enough.

Uae= weakest of the teams in this pot

Kyrgizistan = Same as above

Indonesia = Same as above.
