UEFA - PAMPLONA, CA Osasuna have extended coach José Ángel Ziganda's contract for another season after he led the Pamplona club to the UEFA Cup semi-finals in 2006/07.
'Very happy'
Ziganda said: "I'm very happy that the club has entrusted me with the job again and I will sweat blood again so people can enjoy themselves watching the team. First we have to guarantee we will stay in the Primera División - I don't want to talk about next season when we're still in need of points."
With three rounds to play, Osasuna are 14th in the 20-team league having been knocked out by eventual winners Sevilla FC in the UEFA Cup last four.
The 40-year-old Ziganda, a former Osasuna player, took charge at the end of last season following Javier Aguirre's departure for Club Atlético de Madrid.
