PFDC - MUNICH, Ali Karimi, who had missed out on Bayern's Bundesliga match against Bielefeld on Saturday (muscular problems), will be fit for the Champions League clash against Rapid Vienna on Tuesday. The Iranian already trained with the team on Sunday.
Karimi was taken out of the starting lineup after feeling pain in his calf during the warm up ahead of the Bundesliga clash. "I didn't want to risk having to take him off after a few minutes already", Bayern coach Felix Magath explained his decision to replace Karimi by Mehmet Scholl shortly ahead of the kick off on the club's official homepage.
Meanwhile Michael Ballack is unlikely to be ready to play on Tuesday due to an injury. Also midfielders Ze Roberto and Martin Demichelis are doubtful.
