Persianfootball.com – DOHA, Carlos Queiroz named Iran’s final 23-man squad for the Asian Cup in the UAE in January without any bg surprises. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Missing from the squad are the injured European based quartet Saeid Ezatollahi (Reading, ENG), Kaveh Rezaei (Bruges, BEL), Ali Gholizadeh (Charleroi, BEL) and Sadegh Moharrami (Dinamo, CRO). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite a nagging muscle injury, Brighton winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh has been named in the final list. However, injured players can still be replaced until the six hours before the respective team’s first group game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Iranian national team is currently holding a training camp in Doha. Team Melli have been put in Group D alongside Iraq, Vietnam and Yemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
