{"id":23386,"date":"2015-11-23T09:17:27","date_gmt":"2015-11-23T17:17:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/?p=23386"},"modified":"2015-11-23T09:17:27","modified_gmt":"2015-11-23T17:17:27","slug":"iran-considering-joma-as-soccer-team-kit-sponsor-official","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/2015\/11\/23\/iran-considering-joma-as-soccer-team-kit-sponsor-official\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran considering Joma as soccer team kit sponsor: Official"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Press TV &#8211; TEHRAN, <strong>The Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) is mulling over granting a sponsorship deal for the national soccer team\u00a0to the Spanish\u00a0sports clothing\u00a0manufacturer Joma, an official says.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The potential deal would reportedly see Joma supply match kit and possibly training equipment to Iran men\u2019s national football team between March 2016 and mid-July 2018, when the\u00a02018 FIFA World Cup\u00a0scheduled to take place in Russia\u00a0concludes.<\/p>\n<p>Joma would replace German sports goods manufacturer\u00a0uhlsport GmbH\u00a0as the FFIRI\u2019s official technical sponsor if a deal is struck.<\/p>\n<p>The secretary\u00a0of the FFIRI&#8217;s marketing committee,\u00a0Abbas Torabian, said on Monday that &#8220;negotiations between the\u00a0federation and the manufacturer\u00a0have concluded, but the final contract has not been signed yet.
