PFDC \u2013 TEHRAN, Iranian football coach Carlos Queiroz is organizing a trip to Europe, visiting Team Melli legionnaires and possibly adding a new player to Iran\u2019s squad.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Queiroz will look to clear complications with Polish\/Iranian keeper Daniel Davari. Davari has reported not being available for an Asian Cup Qualifier in Kuwait City on the 26th of March because of club duties for Eintract Braunschweig. The Bundesliga 2 team will face off against Dynamo Dresden two days after Iran’s match against Kuwait. Davari was also not available for Iran\u2019s 5-0 victory over Lebanon earlier in the month.<\/p>\n

Also on the agenda for Iran\u2019s boss is replacing a member of Team Melli\u2019s coaching staff. Queiroz will visit England and search for a new physical trainer. IFF secretary Mohammad Nabi reported former trainer Bart Caubergh resignation was due to excessive financial demands.<\/p>\n

Team Melli\u2019s coach was also reported to meet with Osasuna midfielder, Masoud Shojaei. Although Shojaei hasn\u2019t been starting for Osasuna recently, his call-ups and playing time in Team Melli have been consistent.<\/p>\n

Most notably, sources have noted Queiroz is after a young prospect in Sweden. Although the player has not been specifically released, a very possible name fan\u2019s could hear soon is Swedish\/Iranian striker William \"atashkadeh1\"<\/a>Atashkadeh. \u00a0Atashkadeh currently plays for \u00d6rebro SK \u00a0a second division based team.<\/p>\n

Since 2011, records show Atashkadeh played twenty-eight times for \u00d6rebro SK, scoring seven goals. The 20 year old has also played nine times for the Swedish u-19 national team, netting one. Similarly with Iranian striker Ashkan Dejagah, the two have both played for a junior national team, yet are still eligible to play for a senior national team.<\/p>\n

\"Amin<\/a>Another possibility is Amin Nazari, brother of Team Melli midfielder Omid Nazari. Nazari currently wears Malmo FF\u2019s jersey and can hold appearances in the Swedish u-17, u-19, and u-21 team to his name. Like his brother, the 19 year old is eligible to play for the Swedish national team, Iranian national team and Philippines national team. The central midfielder has stated if the opportunity arises, he will most likely play for Sweden.<\/p>\n

Iran is preparing to play a crucial World Cup Qualifier against Qatar in April. Team Melli currently trails Uzbekistan and South Korea, sitting in third place only beating Qatar on goal difference.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
