PFDC - TEHRAN, The Iranian national team Tuesday morning trained in absence of Pas-playmaker
Khodadad Azizi, who had complained of an injury the night before. Azizi informed Team Melli headcoach Branko about his injury, following the Croatian's agreement to let the player leave the camp. Reports suggest that the chances for Azizi to become fit until the Bosnia-clas next week are very low.
Foolad Khuzestan's Mohammad Alavi has also been crossed out of Branko Ivankovic's list due to an injury, which is due to sideline him for about four weeks.
Furthermore,
Ebrahim Mirzapour, the number one goalkeeper of Team Melli was also injured in training after a heavy ball was fired towards his hand from close range. Mirzapour, however, managed to continue with light training though.
Another player who was absent from training was UAE based Ali-Reza Nikbakht-Vahedi, who is also in doubt for the Bosnia game, however ,his condition seems to be improving rapidly and it’s likely that he will regain fitness in time.
