MNA – TEHRAN, Former Turkey manager Mustafa Denizli steered Iran Pro League holder toward two wins in the past two weeks, encouraging top teams to hire Turkish trainers and footballers, Turkish daily Aksam reported Saturday.
Popular Esteqlal of Tehran has negotiated with managers of Turkish players, Serdar Topraktepe and Ali Eren. According to the managers, the Iranian team will pay up to two million dollars for each of the duo for a 1.5-year contract.
National automaker’s side Paykan, which was beaten by Pas 2-0 in the 17th week of league last Friday, has also voiced its willingness for signing Turkish technical director Yilmaz Vural. Vural has invited Paykan officials to Turkey for further negotiations.
