AFC - BAHRAIN - Bahrain coach Srecko Juricic has omitted six players from his selection for the coming friendly match against Norway and 2006 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers, among them striker A’ala Hubail.

The Qatar based striker was axed from the squad because of another yellow card he received in the last pre World Cup match against Tajikistan in November last year.

Hubail together with his brother Mohammad, were a revelation at the 2004 Asian Cup which Bahrain finished fourth. A’ala finished as the top scorer in the Asian Cup 2004 with five goals, together with Ali Karimi.
