AFC - ZURICH, The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) have created the Ali Daei Cup in recognition of the Iranian great who was the first in the world to reach the 100-goal mark.

Design of the cup has already been designed and the statistic body will be sending the cup to the Iran Football Federation soon, said www.iranmania.com

The cup will be officially handed over Daei after the 2006 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers match between Iran versus Bahrain on February 9.

Also, a four-episode film about Daei has been made by Futbol Mundial which was commissioned by FIFA.

The film will be screened in 140 countries which shows the 103 goals he scored as well as interviews of him plus national coach Branko Ivankovich’s comments on the Daei’s performance.
