AFC - Two teams preparing for the AFC Champions League will use Turkey as their training base before the tournament proper.
Five times Uzbek champions Pakhtakor are already in Turkey for a training camp since Saturday and the camp will end on February 22. They will also play a few friendly matches against the local clubs there.
Pakhtakor has also signed Nigerian player Junior Osaga from Enugu Rangers for the coming season. Their first AFC Champions League match will be against AFC Cup champions, Al Wahda on March 9.
Pas of Iran, would be flying into Turkey for a three day training camp in Ankara. Coached by Mustafa Denizli who is also Turkish, the team would be sponsored by a Turkish company during the camp.
Qatari club Al Rayyan are their first round opponents of the AFC Champions League Group A match scheduled for March 9.
