PFDC – HAMBURG, Mehdi Mahdavikia seems on his way back to good form, as the Iranian winger booked his first assist of the season, setting up Hamburg’s winner against Vfb Stuttgart on Saturday.

The Team Melli player curled in a freekick after 54 minutes, which was headed home by defender Daniel van Buyten. Mahdavikia, who started for Hamburg the third consecutive time, was then replaced by a defender in minute 78, after displaying a strong performance.
