Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Azadi Stadium Cauldron will be lit up during the AFC Champions League final match in Tehran, capital of Iran.

Iranian popular football team Persepolis will host Kashima Antlers of Japan at the Azadi Stadium on Nov. 10 in the second leg of the final match.

The first leg will be held at the Kashima Soccer Stadium on Saturday.

Azadi will relight cauldron after 44 years.

The cauldron has not been fired up since 1974 Asian Games in Tehran.

Asian Football Confederation has invited 20 presidents of football federation around the world to attend the match as well as FIFA and UEFA officials.

Iran President Hassan Rouhani has been also invited to attend the match.
