Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Persepolis captain Jalal Hosseini has agreed to renew his contract for two-year.

His current contract expires at the end of the season.

Jalal Hosseini played a key role in Persepolis’s success in current season of the Iran Professional League.

The 35-year-old defender, who started his playing career in Malavan football team, retuned to Persepolis for the second stint in 2016.

Hosseini has also played in Iranian football clubs Saipa, Sepahan and Naft Tehran.

He signed a one-year contract with Al Ahli of the UAE in 2014.

Jalal Hosseini debuted for the senior national team in a friendly match against Belarus in February 2007.

He has scored eight goals in 108 matches for Iran national football team.
