IPL: Esteghlal defeats 9-man Saba, Foolad beats Naft Tehran [VIDEO]

Tasnim – TEHRAN, Esteghlal football team defeated Saba 2-0 in Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday.

Kaveh Rezaei and Ali Ghorbani scored for the Blues twice in the 18th and 78th minutes in Qom’s Yadegar Emam Stadium.

Saba went down to 10 man in the 40th minute after Reza Enayati received his second yellow card and in the 54th minute Hamid Divsalar received red card.

Elsewhere, Foolad defeated Naft Tehran 4-2 in Ahvaz, Gostaresh Foolad beat Sepahan 2-0 in Tabriz and Saipa suffered a 2-0 home loss against Esteghlal Khuzestan.

Esteghlal moved up to fourth place, five points behind Tractor Sazi and Persepolis who have one game in hands.
