Persepolis set to sign Tractor Sazi goalkeeper Mehrdad Tahmasbi

Loading...Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Persepolis football team has reached an agreement with Tractor Sazi over the signing of goalkeeper Mehrdad Tahmasbi.
Tahmasbi, who has played in Saba Qom, Kaveh Tehran and Pas Tehran, is set to sign an 18-month contract with Persepolis.
Persepolis has been struggled in goal in the first half of the season due to poor performances by first choice keeper Sosha Makani.
Makani is set to hand a suspension while the Iranian giant has lost second choice goalkeeper Iman Sadeghi who joined second division side Khoneh Be Khoneh.
Persepolis, who is currently holding the 11-game unbeaten run, stands in fifth place with 29 points, five points behind league leader Esteghlal.
Naft Tehran keeper Ali Beiranvand and Lokomotiv Tashkent Ignatiy Mikhailovich Nesterov were on Persepolis’s radar as well.
