24 IPL players invited to TM camp for observation
24 players that are potential candidate to join TM are invited to camp for observation from this Wed thru Saturday.
As a reminder, IFF must submit the list of 40 something players to WC committee, I believe by January. I think this observation is intended to be the last chance for those who may have a shot for the final list. I think there are a few players that are with Iran's Olympic team(read Iran B) that also may have a shot and perhaps not invited due to their participation in West Asian Games. Hosseini, Oladi, Akbari, Heidari, and Montazeri are of those players but should also get a shot on these type of camps.
This is a very good idea
My question is: Where is Pejman Nouri? He is a much needed left foot player and every week is improving. With WC so far away, he still has a chance to catch up if he continues to improve and return to his 3 year ago shape.

it IS a good idea , mansoor jan.
but how is this going to be used?
isnt this going to end with the same fate as our B-Team ( under Dr Z ) .... which is discarded promptly, with no attention given to anyone in it ?
when we all (more or less) know this is just to keep some voices of criticism happy or quiet ... and nothing more than an eye-wash !!!
do you seriously foresee any future for these lads in the TM?
amoo, branko refuses to seriously test some of the better players he's had in the camp, instead of his favortie 10-11 ... namely enayati, kazemian, amirabadi, mobaali, , mani'ee..... !
how are we to fool ourselves he's suddenly going to test lesser players ?
absurd move by IFF and Branko.
plain waste of time, and yet another source for demoralizing and discouraging the TM hopefuls on the outside !
THESE are some of the things that are ruining our football !

Thanks for providing your half empty glass Peyman jaan. Most likely true. Here is the half full one.
There are players in IPL that are raw talent. They have made it to IPL but are not being coached properly in club level to make a break through, or the media doesn't care much to pay attention to them. They have the physique or the condition AND the skill but don't have spot light zoomed on them. This will be a good opportunity for those in charge to observe these players closely. If there is ONE, and only one player, that may have something speciall unnoticed and gets recognition, then it will be worthwhile.
I ask you to clean your negativtism from your glasses for one second and think about this: Do you think Branko is "asheghe cheshm abrooye" these "regulars" that he would miss the chance of brininging any new player that he sees capable to help HIM succeed? Now, what that success and that help means is not the point. The point is I have no doubt in my mind if any player is fit to help HIM, will be included. And that is from HIS point of view. No matter what we think about Oladi, Mobali, Manei, and else, it is OUR point of view not his. Even if we were to be expert in football, still a clear line would separate us from him. The line of "personal preference" regardless of the quality of players; A world wide phenomenon in football and coaching.

mansoor jan,
my so called "half empty" view is based on REALITY & EXPERIENCE of watching the going-ons of the TM ... especially on such matters of injecting IPL hopefuls into the team.
I will clean my "negative" glasses WHEN I see branko show some flexibility and less rigidity on many matters.
THEN, I will throw away my "negative glasses"

I don't know Peyman jaan, no matter how many times Branko repeats this, I can't convince myself that he would "miss" anybody that he "sees" fit to help HIM. Now, is he too conservative not to make changes easily, that is a different subject ...
