Stop making all kinds of excuses. We are talking about Jahanbakhsh, whose performances thus far have been below anything acceptable quality wise for the Premier League.

          Meaningless stat.

          In the Premiership:

Only 4 games started. 7 Substitutions.

          462 minutes.

Not counting his starts, his average play time is less than 15 minutes.

He couldn't even shine in the Asian Cup, which quality wise is utter crap.
He's started 4 games! 4 GAMES in the entire premiership!

If fans are judging him by that then they're idiots.

I would argue that BHA's performance has been below quality for the Premier League. Their service to ARJ (when he's finally in the game) has been atrocious. Bottom line, if you're going to bench your biggest signing, don't expect him to be your star with sporadic minutes/starts here and there.

Statistically so far Jahanbakhsh is worse than two other options they have. That's a fact.

                Anthony Knockaert - 21 games - 1 goal 5 assists
                JosΓ© Izquierdo - 9 games - 2 assists
                Alireza Jahanbakhsh - 11 games - 0 goals 0 assists

Your stats are misleading. You have to compare starts to starts and subs to subs. ARJ has not started in all these 11 games.

And you don't think Chris Hughton, who himself has been a fan of Jahanbakhsh and instrumental for his transfer to the club, doesn't see him playing everyday during training sessions? The Premier League is a tough competition. Those with weak feets will not get that many opportunities to impress and cement their starting position. Jahanbakhsh seems to lack both quality and mentality to do good in England, which some of us already predicted due to his playing style.

                      Jahanbakhsh 4 (7) - 426 minutes in the Premiership.

He's been given way less chances. Give him a few starts and see what happens. He could have had several assists as well by now if the Brighton players could finish.

So you took out the 191 minutes in FA cup and 90 minutes in EFL cup? Yeah lets foget those games because why?

                        JosΓ© Izquierdo - 569 minutes, 2 assists and only 9 games played

Then why sign him? If he was not EPL quality, shouldn't CH have recognized that watching him in Eredivisie? Why waste everyone's time then? Either play the man, or release him to a team that will.

Less chances because he was injured or out in AFC cup. Furthermore why do you all ignore the times he has had to show something in FA cup or EFL?

2 games in FA Cup, 1 in EFL Cup and 1 on Premier League 2. He sucked against inferior opposition in all those competitions.

Stop whining. In the end, you are nothing more than a fanboy with a ethnic bias to see him playing and do good. There are people at Brighton who work with him everyday and know what they are talking about.

He gives the other Dutch kids way more chances. Locadia (who has complained publicly about lack of playing time) and Proper. They play horribly (Propper scored his first goal today) yet they are given more chances.
Its bullshit. This babying him into the league style Hughton has doesn't' work.
