Marítimo's defence is so trash. Good finish by Dost bottom corner.

Their defense aint even that bad tbh lol.. It just shows how different top teams like Sporting CP and Benfica are from the rest of the teams

TM Analyst is watching the game. Hopefully for Queiroz or even better with him.

1-1 HT. I actually thought he could have done better on dosts goal.

The view from above the stadium looks fantastic. Madeira seems like a stunning place to be in.

Maritimo scores the winning goal in the dying minutes of the game against Sporting, with a horrible blunder from Portugal starting GK Patricio.

Maritimo and Amir end the season on a high note!

Abedz didnt have much to do all match. He was well protected by his defense. He is certainly playing at a high level in a solid team by any standard, so he must be good. Still physically he isnt very impressive and he definitely doesnt have experience on his side, and has shown to be shaky at times in basic situations. If he gets in the final list it will have a lot to do with the level he is playing at, which is very impressive.

Another win game by Marítimo with Amir in goal

On a side note, his team definitely gets some ''winning'' factor whenever he starts in goal.

Hope he gets tested against Uzbekistan...he basically featured against the top sides of the league Porto, Braga and Sporting and did quite well. There is no other GK in TM at the moment who can say the same.

His contract is ending 30 June, I'm hoping that they give him an extension or he goes to another Liga NOS side as 1st GK.

Braga is playing Europa League next season, that would be a good team for him. I think he can do it.

WE CAN BEAT PORTUGAL! They have a weak defense and crappy GK, besides their strong Midfield and Forwards ofc. We can still nick a cheeky win if that's their GK performance.

Absolutely agree.. Don't be surprised if we tie Morocco 0-0 or 1-1, but end up beating Portugal 1-0

This was done by the fans because of the team's lost against Maritimo even though he scored, logic?

Edit: Sporting's physiotherapists stabbed, dressing room destroyed and some of their other players were attacked too...Smh...

Amir has returned to Maritimo and was included in the squad list for their Summer Training Camp:

"MarÃtimo: Cláudio Braga takes 26 players for internship

The Iranian goalkeeper Amir who was at the World Cup is the great news

Marítimo coach Claudio Braga today called 26 players for the stage, which starts Monday in Lagoa, Algarve, and runs until July 18, in which the Madeiran club will play six games.

In the squad list, highlight Amir, who was at the helm of Iran's World Cup in 2018 in Russia, and for the call of the six reinforcements Marcão, Lucas Áfrico, Barrera, Vukovic, Alhassan and Al Jouli."
