    Done deal!

Gent is a much better place than Akhmat Grozny. This is a very good safe club for Milad to showcase his talents. Belgium is also a better league as far as getting scouted than Russia.

Mashalla Milad! Great choice - think this team and league will suit him well and hopefully after one or 2 good seasons we will see him make an upgrade to a top 4 league.
      Team Meli Iran
      Perspolis FC
      Malavan Bandar Anzali

Celtic once again miss one iranian target!

If Alipour joins Zulte and Beiro Genk , almost all the belgian league team would have had an iranian player in their history.

an underwhelming move. But at least this is a team where he will likely be undisputed starter. They are traditionally one of belgiums top teams in a major city with a great stadium and facilities and big fan base. They are always qualifying for the championship round in belgian with the top 5 teams. Not having european football (unless Mechelen are found guilty) will allow them to have a real push for the championship.

Their best players are Giorgi Chekvetadze, georgian 19 year old attacking mid rumored to be interesting barcelona amongst others. Jonathan David, canadian winger, also 19, with market value of over 10 mil. Also dylan Bronn, tunisian cb, who is rumored to be joining Lyon or Fiorentina. Also CF is Yaremchuk who is starter for ukraine.

Hopefully Milad has a great first season, qualifies for european competition, and is a main player in a more visible, renowned team than grozny.. He is 25 and still has time for another big transfer considering this is a shorter term contract.

He will be 28 when this contract expires, prime age for a big move if nothing happens before

And also Malinovskyi to Atalanta potentially. We can truly determine if this was a good move at the end, but by the looks of it their club’s players get interests from a wide variety of teams.

                      Damn it.

Still good sign that Europe’s top clubs are scouting the Belgian League.

I remember this team eliminated Tottenham at the 2016-17 EL knockout stage!

He hasn't ever lived in the EU.
