If PP had balls, they wouldve attacked yesterday and kept possession. Mansourian is smart, he learnt from PP's mistake and stretched the game out wide by playing patiently. He also pushed the lines up and that meant that Al Ahli had to get through two lines before they were in our half.

Branko on the other hand conceded the first half of the field and the second third of the field so essentially Al Hilal players started their attack in our field while Al Ahli started their attack all the way from the back.

I really hope this team stays together and gets some reinforcements in defense and a proper striker(like Gucci) to complement Amiri and Rezaei.

یک ویژگی دیگر نفت تهران، بازی آفندی است که بس نیک و دیدنی است. در پدافند هم استوارست

Persepolis would have been through too if they played it smart.

Unfortunately Persepolis wasn't able to close down the flanks anywhere nearly as good as naft did, play solid defense for 90 minutes, pose any threat on set pieces, or create any chances for that matter. There was a lot of things wrong with that Persepolis match we were just flat and unmotivated really.

Becasue they have GHEYRATE Irani something you and that other fool persianallstars found funny for some reason. We call that bi-gheyrati...
Your irrationality aside, the team is called Naft Tehran.

                  Just like Esteghlal Tehran.

By your logic, if Esteghlal Khouzestan and Esteghlal Tehran both make it to the CL, you would have to call them both Esteghlal Iran, which would make no sense.

I suggest brushing up on your logic a bit before calling people bi-gheyrat.

Persepolis undermined Alhilal. After the first leg they thought they already won.

I remember someone mocking the 4 japanese team at the botton of their group after 2 days of ACL.

It is sad to see that we struggle that much against arab teams that are < to East asian teams who are themselves soorakh against South american/European top teams (Club world cup)

Frankly, Alhilal was just the better team. As a matter of fact I won't be surprised if they go pretty high in this competition.
