Hey folks, any news on the match against Italy? I take since there's no mention of it here, we must have lost it.

iran lost 3-1 but to be frank we played good in set 3 and 4 no shame in losing to such a good team

if only we had played this well against those bastard chinese ...! may they rot in hell.
if only our serves in our other matches were as good as the ones against Italy, we'd have faired better and maybe gathered more points or less humiliating 3-0 losses. if we had managed to win a set or two in our losses and if we had managed to keep our heads straight and beaten the chinese scum, we could have been somewhere like 7th rank even.

anyway, I think with that single set we won against Italy, we denied them of an olympic slot! I think that single set loss was the difference between brazil and italy.
wow! no wonder their coach was furious.

we still shd be proud as we beat the runners-up, the 7th and 8th teams above us. no easy task by any standards

There is alot of hope for this team. Play like they did against Poland and Serbia in the Olympic qualifiers and a spot in London should be obtainable.
