    Melaka:

Iran is the only side in Group C to maintain the perfect record after they registered a 2-1 win over Qatar in the AFC U-22 Championship played at the neutral venue of Melaka on Monday.

Kuwait bounced back from the first day defeat at the hands of Iran to edge Bahrain 1-0 while the Maldives remained pointless after late drama ensured a 2-1 for Tajikistan earlier.

Iran scored two goals inside three minutes to have a complete control over the match as defender Mohammed Reza opened their account in the 28th minute followed by striker Kaveh Rezaei’s goal three minutes later.
Qatar pegged one back through Murad Hussain but since it was scored deep into the stoppage time, it remained a mere consolation for the Alain Perrin’s side.

I don't think there is going to be live TV for next 2 games against Maldives & Tajiks .

Here is just a clip from news for game against Qatar that include both goals.

U22 with victory over Maldives & Tajik will advance regardless of last game against Bahrain.

I'm very proud of our boys! They are doing good and they need all the support they can get. Let's not forget that some/if not most of these Omid guys will play a significant role in the future of Team Melli.

    Thank you Team Melli U-22!

I am not convinced that Maldives will go out on attack even if they concede in the first 20 minutes. My guess is that for them it would be a case of "damage-limitation-exercise" and a respectable 1 or 2-0 would suffice.

Maybe Mansourian is applying some kidology therapy?

Although weak team, they did not conceded a goal till Min 77 against Qatar.
Against Tajikistan it was their own goal 90+ minute reason for their defeat.
They have been eliminated and nothing to lose.

They will come to play best they can and Mansourian had a chance to see 2 of their games , so there is no excuse.

It's going to be hot and Humid
