EDIT: not only his play making abilities were fantastic as usual, but look at how many tackles he made. he pressed, and every time came up with a fnatastic tackle. he played like a true ball winner i hope we see more of that.

It's quite ironic that Karimi was criticized for being too selfish when he was a young player.

Now, at 32 years young, I think Karimi is too unselfish. Often, he passes it off when he can easily take a shot himself or dribble one more player and then shoot. The teammates he passes to will probably turn the ball over anyway, so why not let the Wizard work his magic?

its funny i was actually about to edit my first post and point that out.

the second malavan scored, i beleive it was the first possesion following the malavan goal, ali took on so many players and started to be a little more selfish (rightfully so) and was getting the ball deeper into their defense...which sparked pp coming back to life in the game and started to get interesting....if he was just a little more selfish he could have scored a goal or 2
