I know some of us close our eyes and blindly follow and swallow whatever that comes out of TM camp (they'd even defend inviting sheyss to TM too, I'm quite sure). but this is for those others who use their own eyes and brains:

as if neglecting rahman ahmadi and insisting with the faltering rahmati in the starting line up was not enough, he goes and makes an even bigger foolish decision!!!
anyone of you can explain why zareh is invited to TM?
especially when we DO have far greater, more energetic, dynamic, and younger players like Omid Ebrahimi or Mosalman?

any idiot who fell for CQ's hypocrisy of "youth development" and "injection of fresh blood" into TM shd feel rudely awakened and surprised to see this too.
so guys like the two kids above or sadeghiyan or rahmani or ... digeh vel maataland !!!

I guess appeasing popular clubs' fans ranks much higher to CQ than the actual fate of TM and its quality!
but hell, even the pp fans dont want zareh in TM!

Maybe he wanted an actual DM instead of a playmaker, of which he already has enough in the squad, and therefore didn't need Mosalman.

And maybe he was as unimpressed by Ebrahimi as myself and went for an experienced player who is tall and strong, attributes Ebrahimi certainly doesn't have to offer.

Maybe he simply can judge football related issues better than a dentist from Texas, but I guess that final explanation is a bit unbelievable.

    lol. de nashod digeh.
if you're going to behave as if you havent watched a game of football or pretend as if you havent seen zareh play, or pretend as if you dont know what his roles and duties are (which I will not fall for anyway), then let me know so I wouldnt waste my time.
but if your answer is no to all the 3 above suppositions, then read on.

    1-
the player in question is EBRAHIMI (mosalman, sadeghiyan, rahmani, ... are others mentioned for their youth potential and issues like rejuvenation of TM, .... )

    2-
if the above 3 suppositions are not correct about you, then you'd know zareh's height has never come into play in anything.
he doesnt go into the opponents' box to receive freekicks or corners. he usually stays outside, waiting for the rebound ball to kick (under, ... to hurt the stadium clock's feelings, I assume)

neither does his height come into play in his post as it's right in the middle and balls are just passing over his head all the time anyway!

experience? if you mean the number written in front of his name on a piece of sheet, then ok. but if "experience" shd mean better performance or better judgement or better temprament, then you've got a lot of explaining to do

so while you get NOTHING out of YOUR factors you brought up, with Ebrahimi you get superior fighting abilities, superior stamina, superior intelligence, superior running and tackling, and much longer period of use (due to his young age).
you also get validation for CQ's "slogan" too. another plus.

    3- dentist from texas?
    lol. no comments on this.

The frustrating point is you are not even trying to find explanations for coaching decisions you don't like. The only one is the coach is making a mistake. At least give it a try, no need to buy a Zare jersey.

Come on, as intelligent human being, you must be able to put yourself into someone else's position trying to understand him, even if he thinks differently.

Even though I'd never call up Zare, I can at least come up with several points why someone else would, you can't even name one, that's somewhat unbelievable.

actually there are no points that supports his inclusion (surely the height thing cant be one of them) . you're basically saying we shd trust CQ becoz he's the coach and maybe he doesnt like ebrahimi! these are not "facts". they're mere conjectures that are hardly valid or demands for absolute obedience to authority.

.... while I think I have pretty much covered all zareh's weaknesses as well as ebrahimi's strengths, which were about the players' difference in stamina, energy, present form, quality, work rate, ... etc.

During game against Uzbeks, when coach has to attempt to replace a player under pressure not due to his injury before the first half , something is wrong , perhaps miscalculation, misreading and if this repeated in following game that leave a question mark and reinforce sense of misunderstanding .
During last few games it seems Queiroz acted more like traditional Iranian coaches than modern tactation.
Heavily relying on set pieces , long throw ins, corner kicks , using a CD as CF (Agheeli- Albania) , attempt out of frustration and not injury to sub a player well before end of first half is the tactics that fans trash Firuz Karimi and GN for. We are hoping our coaches learn from Queiroz not other way around.
Granted there is great measure of discipline and control by Queiroz which is admirable but so far beyond that he has not offered significantly different performances.
Never in the past Iranian has given any coach a respect, resources and power the way have they given to Queiroz.
Let’s hope and pray for his success with TM

He isnt wrong in any way.

Our players are simply not superior enough to break a teak who defends with 11 men.

    Simple as that
