Iran(IRIFF) should pullout of WAFF immediately and instead help establish a new federation.

Central Asia, Caspian and Transcaucasian Football Federation
(4 x AFC members: Iran, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan & Tajikistan; 4 x UEFA members: Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan & Kazakhstan)

    what a great idea

Nigeria's second-team defeated our main team back in 1998. This time if Nigeria brings most of their top star players, don't be surprised if they defeat Team Melli 2-0 or more in Tehran.

I have that game on tape!

I watched it again. It was a very close game. Iran played reasoably well. It had many chances to score, but Modir Rosta just wasn't the character to take advantage. Our defense had problems too. Nigeria scored an easy goal.

The game next week could have been different! But I think Ghotbi's roster, is reminiding of the old game again. A under powered team will face Nigeria!!!

In that match were there any substitutions for Team Melli and Nigeria? If yes, can you please write the substitutions details player names and minutes they come on the field and players they replaced.

    Many Thanks.

    Rooyintan jaan --

I didn't really take notice of the Nigeria subs, but for Iran number of playes were subbed. Tahami, Dinmohammadi, Majidi, Yazdani, ModirRosta, Nadim Sadavi were at some point subbed in and out.

The game was really boring. Iran played really bad in the first half. In the second half, there were some sparks but nothing really exciting.
The best player was Pashazadeh and the rest of them were below average performance.

Watching that game, I wondered why sadavi, Tahami, or Rezamanesh were ever invited to TM.

I hope Ghotbi also gets a chance to watch that game to realize that Nigeria is a team that not only uses its physical strenght to its advantage, but it is also a very fast and technical team. You need to have a right arrangement to counter this team.
