The draw for the west Asian football federation tournament will be carried out in Amman, Jordan on 1st July 2008. This year’s tournament will be held in Iran between 7th – 15th August and will be split into a two groups consisting of 4 teams each, in addition to the host , Iraq, Syria , Jordan , Lebanon , Palestine , Qatar and Bahrain will be taking part. Two top team of each group will play the semi-finals. In this edition, there will be no play-off between the Semi Finals loser for the third place. The winners will be playing in the final on the 15th July. For Bahrain and Qatar it will be their first participation in this tournament ahead of the final round of FIFA World Cup 2010 qualification matches.
Due to the intensive number of matches, IFF has objected to playing the matches in Azadi Stadium in fear of damage to Azadi pitch . IFF has suggested several other venues, but Dastgerdi seems to be the only one acceptable to WAFF.

O.G from '97 & still here

If we have REAL friedndlies like Egypt, cameroon, and Czeck Rep. then send our B team, if it was a lie (which it porabably was) then send our A team.
how old?

Send our A Team! We need all the match playing together as we can ... as lots of the guys are new to the team.
