    What happended to Sassan Gohari?

Anybody know what happended to Sassan Gohari? Last I heard was he was playing at Hansa Rostock, but I just looked at their roster and didn't see him. He plays LB, which would help our problem there, and he has stated he would love to play for Team Melli. Anybody know where he is or whats going on with him?

Heres the last I heard of him:

BERLIN, Newly promoted Bundesliga club Hansa Rostock is testing Iranian central defender Sassan Gohari whose amateur contract with Bundesliga club Hamburger SV has expired.

Speaking with IRNA on Thursday evening, the 21 year-old Gohari said he was "very optimistic" about signing with Rostock.

"I have played in two test matches with Hansa and now it is up to the coach to make a decision. Hansa is a very good address for every player. The team is very good and it's a dream of mine to finally play in the Bundesliga," said Gohari who scored a goal and had one assist in Rostock's 13-1 test match drubbing of a low-ranked amateur club.

He pointed out that he had also other offers from German second division clubs.

Gohari who had been named for Hamburg's professional lineup last fall when the club faced a shortage of defenders as a result of a series of injuries, would be the second Iranian player to play for Rostock after Amir Shapourzadeh.

Starting his football career as a junior footballer at Hertha Berlin, Gohari has yet to make his professional debut in the Bundesliga.

Asked about his prospects of joining the Iranian national football team, Gohari said it was "his dream to play for Team Melli" but said he has yet to receive an invitation.

He confirmed that he met with Iranian national football team coach Amir Ghalehnoei in Hamburg two weeks ago but did not discuss playing for the national squad.

Gohari expressed hope that he would be given a fair chance to eventually show his football qualities during a Team Melli training camp.

you know playing in a second team of a bundesliga team like gohari is for some a dream, most of them never make it to the first team but still have a nice life, play in bundesliga 3,get some good money, have some nice friendlies, meet stars and and and..............and gohari i think he wont make it to a bigger team, thats what i guess because most of the second team players dont get even a real chance

Well, he is 21, which is younger than most of our defenders. Hosseini started shining after turning 25, aghili when he was 25, etc. He still has time to make his breakthrough.
