Its from 90 I think. I still like this kid, and Im just waiting for his breakthrough.
Please dont use this thread for bashing. He is very polite and well-mannered btw.
Anyway here are the vids.
What does manner and behaviour have to do with being a good striker..
" Exuse me Mister Goalkeeper can u please let me put this ball past you"
Aslan ive been waiting for his so called Breakthrough for a while now, I thought it would of been when he scored that goal agasint Croatia before the World Cup..
Or even when he scored that goal agasint Qatar...
But this kid doesnt have a breakthrough

I never said being polite and well-mannered had anything to do with being a good striker. I just pointed it out.
But its cool you keep waiting for dejagah to come to Iran and Ill keep hoping Borhani has a breakthrough. I wouldnt believe in him before I saw these vids, but because he knows his mistakes and apparentely is working on them, I still have a little hope. Even if its just a little bit.

he's very shy
Dude you have no idea, I have been the biggest supporter of Borhani since PAs FC Denizly time....I love the kid till death....
When everyone was sayying bring in Dejagah i said Borhani. But Borhani hasnt improved and thats why am looking beyond him and at better strikers such as Akbarpour, Mosalman, Amraei, Meidavoodi etc....Dejagah is in his own case...
But in Iran we have much better strikers then Borhani and he isnt even Top 10 anymore in Iran if you ask me...
And its dissepointing to see him becoming like this
But dont say i never supported him...I allways did but now i realise this kid seems like he doesnt have a Breakthrough in his story
but i still hope...

I know you were a Borhani fan my friend. I remember that from your previous posts. We cant do anything but wait and see what the future holds for him.
This interview made me realize that footballplayers are just people like us, and in this case even just kids. They are doing there best, and thats really as much as they can do.
Yes Borhani is still a kid...A Hardworking kid,,I think he does pick up on the advice given to him....
He is a hardworking player, I think he doesnt WANT to miss thoose oppurtinities but its just something he needs to work on and he has age on his side...
HE is 1 of the most talented players we have in our Country....But still, i do not rank him atm as 1 of the Top 10....But knowing he could be Top 3![]()
And he isnt doing himself any favours with playing in Esteghlal Tehran i tell ya..its a Big club, Big expectations

borhani is awesome and we didnt give hm his chance to breakthrough
khatibi and enayati played afc not him,he wasnt even on the bench.
i told u all back then that wed regret not even bringing him to the camp.

hahah I loved the part where they had a compilation of all his misses of 2 years ago
I think there's just too much pressure on him. It doesn't go all naturally with him anymore...you can see that from some of his one on ones where he could put the ball in with a simply gentil shot into the corner, but instead shoots the ball with all his power and without any sense of direction way off the target.
He's a very humble guy tho, and I hope his extra practices pay off.
Persian Pride running through my veins!
Esteghlal for life!!

Dadash, he was even in a worse form back then than he's right now. He'd scored only 2-3 goals all season. Enayati (and eve Khatibi) had been playing for one of the worse clubs, but still had managed to score and assist 10 times more than Borhani had.
All over the world coaches invite players who are in form, and players who're totally out form are being left out. Even Van Nistelrooy was being left out of the Dutch NT when he wasn't in form and wasn't scoring as much as he used to.
You can't leave out a player who's been in form and has been scoring and assisting more than 20 times and invite a player who's been out of form all season and has managed to score a total of 2-3. No coach in the world would!
