Turkish Club beats Inter Milan, Sepahan ties Kawasaki...

how is that that Fenerbhace, a Turkish club, defeats Italy's most potent offense, Inter Milan...while a good quality Iranian club TIES Kawasaki IN Iran!?

i have always said that iran should set Turkey as their idols in domestic football, the SuperLig has managed to draw packed fans from all around the country, amazing environments, great players, UEFA Berths, and all taking place in Muslim country.

Iran should start paying attention to countries like turkey, and relize that we have potential as well, but it has turned into no results.

bottom line, the IPL is not doing as much as it should be in order to compete with top-tier leagues. They need to renovate stadiums, advertise more, get legitimate long-term sponsors, and most of all, attract FORIEGN PLAYERS.

Why can't we be like this?:

and some clown here even a couple weeks back even dared to EVEN compare the IPL with the Turkey Superlig. It's on a whole 'nother planet son.

the political structure in turkey allows such a strong footballing industry, ours allows for b.s and crap. it's all the politicial system and the mullahs are a mafia, but they are good at eating money rather than investing it.

Gotta admire Turkey for everything they have achieved in the past decades. God bless Atatürk. I wish he had been the leader of Iran!

It's true dude, look at Turkey, and then look at Iran. Huuuuge difference!

I mean Iran has pretty modern parts as well, it's just the mentality and the way to build a country that makes them so great!

Do you really want Irans military running the country as it is in Turkey? I think that Ataturk did many things right, but also many things wrong. There is no real democracy in that country. Anyways, I lived in Torkie 12 years ago, and from what I hear from family members who have just recently visited, its a whole new country.
