as we all know, karimi has a one year contract with bayern, hope he'll recover soon and shine there.
i read somewhere hashemian has a two year contract with hanover, so he'll stay there for the next season, hope he'll score more goals for his club and TM in AC.
kia will stay at hambourg, correct me if i'm wrong
there were lots rumres about kaebi's transfer to arsenal before the WC, hope he'll get there![]()
nekounam's performance was convincing, i think herta berlin will buy him!
madanchi can play in some mid table german club!
i think zandi can play in epl!
hope jabbari gets an offer from some european club !![]()

Zandi - was class and showed in a very short time that he deserves a contract somewhere. I hope he gets a chance to run the show on Wednesday from the middle in Karimi`s absence.
Teymourian - was excellent against Mexico and good against Portugal but needs to work on his attacking game...there were a few times when he broke forward and was free but was ponderous in possession or lost control of the ball. If he was as composed further up the pitch as he is in the centre of midfield he would be a really top quality player.
Nekounam - was not as inflential as he can be, but still did very well in the first half against Mexico and seemed to be the only Iranian player capable of dealing with Deco for most of the Portugal game. The booking in this game took away some of that effectiveness as we all know Deco likes to go down easily and he could have been sent off. Over the past few years more than anyone he deserves a European contract.
Madanchi - didn`t impress apart from his industry and one run against Portugal...for me didn`t do enough to warrant a move. Lost possession too many times, his touch was poor and he didn`t cause either teams any problems.
Kaebi - excellent against Portugal, had Figo and Ronaldo in his back pocket for most of the game. Needs to sort out his temperament/rash challenges but deserves to move to a decent European team. It`s a shame but we could have seen more from him going forward in both games as I think he could have caused teams a lot more trouble (e.g. like in the Korea Asian Cup game)
Mirzapour - apart from his kicking he has played well. Even looked relatively safe on crosses, but he will be lucky if that Portuguese move goes through since keepers are usually judged on their mistakes and he still makes far, far too many. At the age of 27 he still hasn`t learnt how to kick the ball in the air, something most aspiring goalkeepers learn by the age of 14.
Shojaei - deserves some time on the pitch to show what he can do. Confident that he can impress some of the scouts with his technical ability.
Borhani - for me a real shame that Branko brought on Khatibi instead of Arash, since I think Borhani could have made more of an impact and is a better player. Hopefully he will get a start or at least a half against Angola.
Nosrati - really, really impressed me. Was far more secure and defensively sound than I have ever seen him and he really does deserve a move on this form.
Thanks for your response Pej. You obviously know your soccer! I agree with Nekunam's performance of late. Looking past that, I see a midfielder who demands control. He wants short balls, makes himself availalbe, fills in the hole and makes for an easy pass. He loves to use the entire field which is uncommon in Iran. He has certainly reached the ceiling in Iran. He doesn't have the support through his teammates in Iran. I believe that he will play a key role and therefor Nekunam is first on my wishlist to go to Europe where he can play on a team that uses the centre of the field to distribute the ball evenly. We can gain a lot from his growth in Europe.Originally Posted by PEJ
