    Man Of The Match

Deco, Figo and Ronaldo are all worthy of note, but this is not 'Man of the Match. Long after the whistle Ali Karimi sat forlornly beside the bench trying to mask the tears in his eyes by drenching his face in water. It was a poignant image. Even if fully fit the world stage might not have been set alight by Karimi, but it is a desperate shame for both player and country they will never know what could have been achieved.

watch out!! the "Persian culture critics" will crucify you for your comments... maybe you haven't heard the news but it has been chosen that Karimi should take the blame for TM failure.. apparently he is too spoilt and drove the team to failure while our godly coach Mr. Branko had the perfect plan to kill both Mexico and Portugal..

    why are we so naive?!!
    Team faghat PERSPOLIS

I think we shouldn`t be looking for some player to blame, its crazy...I didn`t like blaming daei for mexico match either. When TM has a caoch that have NOT the knowlege of todays soccer what do you want the players to do !!?? I think we made it so far just & just becuz of our players tecnikal ability & not becuz our coach had a greate game plan...The man of the match is not my words you can read the artikel at the highly good football site of http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns...t&lid=tab1pos1
