With 1019 ppl participating in JF’s survey in Tehran, which clearly proves the trend in his diminishing popularity and approval by Iranian fans.

37% !!!

that’s right.
It used to be in and around 90% a year or so ago.
Then progressively ( parallel with regress at TM’s performances, naturally ) it lowered to 75%, then 65% , then 56-7%.

Now, we have 37%.

What does it say?

hafez jan, this is brought up for those of us who just cant agree with facts, and always paint a totally skewed and warped picture of his support and popularity among the fans..... all that, to prove their agenda and cases , which anyway doesnt hold water, as it is.

obviously public opinion could always be influenced vastly by the media.. and in this case a media on a joint venture feeding people one sided anti-Branko content on 24/7 basis..

and guess what, this so called survey is done by JF...now, JF has become as credible as Stats-Can?!

What does it say? It says that once again you are misleading the members with your "accidental" omission of the whole poll!

Here is the actual poll. It was not taken by JF but by University students from ISPA:

The poll was taken from 1019 people in Tehran. All of them were 18+.

THE MAJORITY WANTS BRANKO TO STAY 37.6%
25.3% wants Branko to be replaced with another foreign coach.
9.4% wants Branko to be replaced with another Iranian coach.
ALSO, 30% had no opinion on the subject.

BTW, their numbers don't add up to be 100!

And don't worry, one win against Costa Rica and the numbers will change again. These polls reflect people's mood, depending on TM's result.

براساس نتايج يك نظرسنجي،‏ اكثر شهروندان تهراني‏ ميزان آمادگي تيم ملي فوتبال كشورمان را براي حضور در جام جهاني متوسط عنوان كرده*اند.

به گزارش ايسنا، در اين نظر سنجي كه از سوي مركز افكار سنجي دانشجويان ايران (ايسپا) صورت گرفته است، 2/27 درصد هم آمادگي تيم ملي را زياد و 6/23 درصد كم دانسته*اند.

در اين نظرسنجي كه با حجم نمونه 1019 نفراز شهروندان تهراني بالاي 18 سال طي روزهاي 9 و 10 بهمن ماه 84 صورت گرفته است‏ بيشتر پاسخگويان (6/37 درصد) گفته*اند كادر مربيگري تيم ملي هيچ مشكلي ندارد. 3/25 درصد نيز خواستار استخدام مربي خارجي بهتري براي تيم ملي شده*اند و 4/9 درصد هم با وجود سرمربي ايراني در تيم ملي موافقند. ضمنا 30 درصد هم در اين خصوص اظهارنظر نكرده*اند.

براساس اين نظرسنجي در پاسخ به سوالي مبني بر احتمال صعود تيم ملي به مرحله بعد جام جهاني‏، بيشتر شهروندان تهراني (4/34) درصد‏ احتمال صعود ايران را كم دانسته*اند. 7/27 درصد هم احتمال صعود تيم ملي را در حد متوسط و 9/21 درصد زياد عنوان كرده*اند.

نتايج ديگر اين نظرسنجي درباره ارزيابي گروه چهارم جام جهاني (ايران‏، مكزيك، پرتغال و آنگولا) حاكي است از ديد بيشتر پاسخگويان (5/35 درصد) تيم ملي در گروه سختي قرار دارد و البته 9/34 درصد هم گفته*اند گروه تيم ايران متوسط است. فقط 1/10 درصد گروه تيم ايران را گروه آساني ارزيابي كرده*اند.

همچنين 3/51 درصد پاسخگويان معتقدند دولت به ميزان زيادي از تيم ملي براي حضور در جام جهاني حمايت مي*كند و اين روند را مناسب دانسته*اند. 3/23 درصد حمايت دولت از تيم ملي را متوسط و 2/13 درصد كم ارزيابي كرده*اند.

Nope, mansoor jan,
I am basically following the strict method some freinds use to show results in polls and certain stats.
( ... when using such words : "majority in suport", "solid backing", .... !!!)


now, I dont know why suddenly this one shd be different .

when ppl concentrate on ONLY one number in certain polls and decide to discount other factors, to prove something, they shd have thought of such days too !!!

I guess what goes up, must come down too.

we cant adopt this attitude , but as long as it suits our purpose, ......and then discard it when it doesnt , now. can we?


so as the original post said:
a survey was conducted from a rather large number of ppl ( as compared to 70-80 ppl ) : 1019 ppl.

out of which only 37% of the ppl supported branko.

it's all there, and there's no denying it.
