The greatest footballer in our history. He gave us so many memories. The same folks who say Karimi screwed up against Ireland fail to realize without him we wouldn't have made it there in first place. I'm guessing these are the same folks blaming Taremi for his miss against Portugal.

He lacks character to be a legend though. I will never forget his shitty attitude on tv during the pre stages of world cup 2018. A true legend is someone like Ali Daei who actually helps his people not only by words but with action.

love the guy, (still the best/most skilled iranian footballer ever in my view...! ) his heart is in the right place usually and often means well but he is way too emotional, self-righteous, nontheless, still rather politically/diplomatically naive and occasionally has this idiotic knee jerk reactions to complicated situation , which makes him come across as a complete dipstick (not so referring to the recent drama btw)
