Iranians in Persian Gulf States 2022-2023

I wanted to ask the following question but couldn't find an appropriate thread.
And I thought since we do have some Iranians in
    (forever) PERSIAN GULF states
    Let's have a thread.
    My question is
Anyone knows why Farhad Majidi has been refused visa by the Austrians?
Al-Ittihad Kalba has been in Austria about a week for the pre season camp and the Austrian authorities have refused to issue visa for Majidi
But apparently Al-Ittihad are now moving the camp to Turkiye for the remaining period.

Apparently, Esteghlal wants Mehdi Ghayedi back, but he is not interested in returning to the Persian Gulf Pro League.

Why would he consider footballing decisions at this point? If he has another year like he had last year, he will be done as a footballer in a few years.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

He's on 35,000/week tax-free. Knowing that Skocic will still call him up for the world cup, why would he ever return to Iran? Boy likes his jetskis and mall visits

It seems like football is secondary to him. He had potentials. What a shame!

I guess this is the ‘QSL & UAE legionnaires 2022-23’ thread…

Shabab (Nourollahi) has 10 games scheduled before the World Cup. 2 September - 11 November.

Al Ahli (Kanani & Khalilzadeh) has 7 games scheduled. 1 August - 14 September. I guess QSL has an extended break. So our starting CBs won’t play any competitive game from 14 September until 21 November?
