Rumor: AC Milan continues interest in Taremi, but Porto will not negotiate unless at least $20M is offered. Porto will not release any player unless termination clause is met (which is $60M for Mehdi).

        Taremi scored today in friendly

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Mehdi's goal (second goal) - nice thumping strike, off balance too and having his path impeded by defenders.

Damn, he makes it look so easy. Off balance among 4-5 defenders and strikes it over the keeper. AMAZING!

The news is out that 2 players (taremi and hajsafi) started all this division in team melli. Taremi got his revenge on skocic (what a snake ). Now the whole team is messed up and divided into two different sides.

The news is that 2 Players visited the sports ministry office and requested for skocic to be changed! Since when players decide who should the coach be! Looks like we're back to 2006 Bazikon salari!

Confederation of Asia places Taremi in the elite of the continent

FC Porto forward was elected one of the six players from that confederation who shone the most in Europe in 2021/22.

Taremi was chosen by the Asian Confederation (AFC) as one of the players from that continent who shone the most in European football in 2021/22.

The fact that he was the best scorer for FC Porto (26 goals), as well as the best assistant (16), placed the number 9 in an elite lot, along with Son (Tottenham), Furuhashi (Celtic), Shomurodov (Rome) , Kamada and Hrustic (both from E. Frankfurt).

In another context, Mehdi found himself involved in a new controversy. Given the rumors that point Carlos Queiroz to a possible return to the command of the selection, several players publicly expressed their support for the current coach, Dragan Skocic, which generated discord. Taremi condemned the message, which he considers to have been prepared "by personal interests, causing the division of the team into two groups".

You know I have been one of the biggest Taremi fans on this site even when people hated his guts, called him khayemal, bashed him cause he was in Persepolis, or even when he f***ed up in turkey - so it pains me to say if those allegations are true - then yes Skocic should get rid of Taremi and JB.

The positive in me wants to believe that Taremi and JB simply told the President we have a shit iff who can’t arrange friendlies, camps or even coordinate kits - do something.

In general I agree with you though, if Skocic has lost half the team, and he won’t kick the players out then he’s ineffectual and should go.

What the players have done (Azmoun and Taremi camps specifically) is unacceptable and very unprofessional.

Things like this have happened before. Marhoom Dehdari basically kicked out 17 (or was it 12) TM
Players because they couldn’t handle his discipline.
That led to players like Abezadeh, Zarincheh, Namjoo Motlagh, Nader Mohammadkhani and many other young players finally getting a chance.
Our friend Nokhodi suggests "getting rid" of them as a solution, smh...

Still better than wishing for 3 losses in WC. Glad Leicester City isn't in charge cause he'd have the team tank to prove a point.

Still can't believe any TM fan would route against TM regardless of who is in charge or what the agenda is.
