Santa Clara manager, Mário Silva is against Mohammad Mohebi being transferred. So looks like he will stay in Portugal.

سرمربی سانتاکلارا پرتغال مخالفت خود را با جدایی محمد محبی، هافبک ایرانی این تیم اعلام کرده و به این ترتیب انتقال این بازیکن به استقلال منتفی شده است.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Excellent, I hope he does well. Mohebi doesn't get much notice (I am not sure why, maybe because his name reminds of Wilmots...which isn't his fault lol). He can develop a lot Portugal if he continues to stay there! You got our full support man!

Let's not pretend that you know what amount is enough or satisfactory for him. I want him to stay in Europe too, but I'll never shame my countryman for making decisions that he sees fit for his future and family. People on this forum need to start speaking with respect about our players.

bravos_acorianos With goals from Mohebi and Rúben Oliveira, Santa Clara ended the stage in beauty by beating Rio Ave by 2-0! 💪

So happy he stayed. Almost feels like having a new legionairre given how close he was to leaving at least reportedly...

Hopefully he can really kick on this season bc he has all the tools to be a very good winger in europe.

Started in the final friendly of pre-season in Santa Clara's 2-1 victory against Nacional and had a chance where he nearly scored 58' minute: https://www.ojogo.pt/futebol/1a-liga...-15061740.html

Nacional reacted and a few minutes later, in the 51st, Luís Esteves shot with great danger, before Santa Clara got very close to extending the lead, in the 58th, when Mohebi appeared isolated, but shot close to the post.
