This was the best time for skocic to hit the nail on the head for any disciplnary actions, so players start recognising who is in charge.

And also I feel there is more into this issue. They (majidi) must've done something really really out of order to make skocic boil so hard. We've known skocic for being soft on players and thats why i think there is more details behind the scene .

Also I feel like this is the best time to do it because he can't bring hashie for team melli in 5 months time. The hashie created now will be forgotten in 6 months time so therefor this was the best time to take disciplinary actions .

Okay now i've read the full story :

+ Skocic wanted all players to join the camp on monday
+ Skocic did not agree with 5 ss players joining SS in their last game
+ Because it was not fifa day SS had control over the players and they insisted for players to be part of the SS celebration
+ Skocic agreed for players to join the celebration
+ Esteghlal agreed to send players to team melli camp after their celebration
+ Esteghlal used those players in the line up
+ Skocic was mad and when players tried to join the camp skocic rejected them.

Why would majidi start with his best players in a pointless match against a weak ass IPL team?

They have been Invited to attend TM training camp for specific date and if for any reason decide not to go or have excuses, they should have contacted TM coach or Manager for clarification or guidance. Noe of them did
They were all into Championship game and celebrations.... TM could wait attitude.

Not their responsibility. All the talking is between the federation and club.
Remember the federation scheduled last PGL fixture, not the club/players.

They can have all sort of excuses including one you mentioned , in the end, They were invited to TM , they did not show up and went to party.

Invitation to TM is only by TM coach, he decide who invite, who he reject and even change his mind .
If he invite 5 then later reject them, it is his prerogative.

All 5 supposed to first attend TM camp and register at Olympic Hotel then leave for Esteghlal part and come back after the game.
They did not do that. They did not show up at TM hotel and after the game went home or wherever they went.
It seems their club and party is more important for them

Discipline is key to organization. Skocic did the right thing. They will be called up again but the punishment warrants the crime.

No one or club is above TM. Playing in TM is a privilege not a right. Good on Skocic. Iron out disciplinary issues asap rather than take them to WC.

TM invitation was done by IFF, so was scheduling of W30. What's your point?

Let's go back to South Africa camp before WC14 and Sepahan situation.
If you remember they were still involved with ACL and CQ was fighting with Kranjcar over TM players.
He basically told Kranjcar if you use TM-players in ACL they will be crossed of the list. Sepahan didn't qualify for KO-stages that year so it didn't become a big issue.

Now if Skocic said something like that in media and Majidi still used the 5 players, then it's another story.
But he didn't, so Esteghlal/the players are not to blame here.
