    Regarding rule

Friendly matches on dates outside the coordinated international match calendar
These matches do not take priority over matches in a national championship. A club is not obliged to release a player who has been called up if the friendly match in question is to be held on a date outside the coordinated international match calendar.
In accordance with Article 36 Paragraph 4, a player shall only be released to the national association if his club agrees to his release.

Not sure if this was posted yet, but I recently came across an interview Omid Namazi did with an American soccer podcast back in April, right after the World Cup draw - Namazi was asked to analyze TM and the upcoming US vs. Iran match. Afterwards, Namazi also discussed his own time with TM and Carlos Queiroz, who he praised. Towards the end of the podcast, he mentioned how Queiroz and his staff had to handle a lot of the things normally done by the federation, like arrange friendlies, etc., which sounds relevant today given the federation's current difficulties handling those very matters:

In his view best for TM is if PGL end 4-5 weeks earlier for preparation that include TM players from PGL, Qatar and UAE. about 50% of TM squad.
He believe Qatar & UAE leagues will have no games during that period.

According to him one of TM player s in Europe going to play in Qatar
